Since the safe landing of the Mars rover "Perseverance" in February 2021, we have received countless images of this current NASA mission. They are also being taken with the help of Jenoptik lenses! Our engineers at the Jenoptik site in Jupiter, Florida, developed, assembled and tested three different types of exceptional, state-of-the-art lenses for this NASA Mars mission. The lenses are now contributing to the success of "Perseverance" by helping the rover navigate, avoid hazards and collect samples.
Take the opportunity in Jena-Göschwitz to see the Mars rover in miniature and learn more about the Mars mission and our optics expertise.
