The Leibniz Center for Photonics in Infection Research (LPI) will be established in Jena over the next few years. At the LNdW, researchers provide information about the joint large-scale project.

By 2030, a new translational center will be established in Jena in the immediate vicinity of the University Hospital: the Leibniz Center for Photonics in Infection Research (LPI). With an innovative concept as a user-open center, ideas from the field of photonics for infection research are to be brought to market quickly at the LPI.
