The BRAWA research association aims to enable early fire detection through a new type of alarm system in combination with an innovative helper concept and thus contribute to the preservation of cultural assets.

Historic buildings such as castles and palaces, churches and monasteries, or half-timbered houses and museums have a particular fire risk - and are unfortunately regularly affected by fire incidents. In order to prevent future damage, we are researching a new type of technical-operational solution in which the support of laypersons is crucial. To this end, we are testing how laypersons can be alerted, informed and motivated in the best possible way.
