oncgnostics researchers explain how safe early detection of cancer works with epigenetic tests and also offer a hands-on program

Human papillomaviruses (HPV) can cause cervical cancer or head and neck tumors. However, precise diagnostics are needed to determine whether HPV-infected people really do develop cancer. Oncgnostics GmbH, InfectoGnostics campus partner, has developed a molecular test that enables reliable early detection of cervical cancer.

At the Long Night of Science, visitors will learn how oncgnostics researchers detect epigenetic changes that occur specifically in cancer.

In addition, oncgnostics will give childrenof all ages the chance towin plush microbes and mix a colorful drink with laboratory equipment.
