Archaeological field projects at the University of Jena explore the diversity of human cultures over a great temporal depth and in very different regions of the world. In three lectures we present examples of current excavation projects. A guided tour through the collection of prehistory and early history and a presentation of 3D models of archaeological finds complete the overview of archaeological research at the University of Jena.
