Which species are actually found in my area? NFDI4Biodiversity and the Living Atlas of Nature in Germany invite you to explore biodiversity data.

Data is essential for the protection and research of our fascinating flora and fauna. NFDI4Biodiversity is a consortium under the umbrella of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), which is dedicated to the collaborative use of biodiversity and environmental data. As the University of Jena, we are one of around 50 partner institutions (including scientific institutions, museums, natural history societies and environmental authorities) working to make such data more readily available. One of our products is the "Living Atlas of Nature in Germany"(https://land.gbif.de/), a biodiversity portal that pools species observations from many different sources and makes them available.

At our stand, you are invited to explore the biodiversity in our portal and learn more about our interdisciplinary work at NFDI4Biodiversity.
