What does it do to children and young people when the world sinks into global crises? We will examine scientific findings and develop strategies for us and the next generation - join us!

Corona, the war of aggression in Ukraine, the escalation in the Middle East, inflation and, hovering over everything, the climate and biodiversity crisis - wherever you look, our present is characterized by crises. In the course of their development, children and young people have to come to terms with their own issues and crises, but also with our global world of crises. In doing so, they encounter adults who do not have direct answers to the crises - it is therefore up to us to support children and young people, but also to develop a way of dealing with the crises.

Is it therefore inevitable that children and young people will experience increased psychological stress with anxiety and depressive symptoms? Who is particularly affected? What solutions can be found? The lecture will focus on the scientific evidence surrounding global crises, mental stress and health and offer suggestions for solutions for people who are in contact with children and young people in their private and professional lives. After a keynote speech, you will have the opportunity to ask your own questions and exchange ideas.

For parents, teachers and anyone who works with children and young people.
