Find out how our lenses help the NASA rover on Mars and use our mini Mars rover as a special kind of photo motif.

After the safe landing of the Mars rover "Perseverance" in February 2021, the world was eagerly awaiting the first images from this current NASA mission. They were taken with the help of Jenoptik lenses! Our engineers developed, assembled and tested three different types of exceptional, state-of-the-art lenses for this NASA Mars mission at the Jenoptik site in Jupiter, Florida. The lenses are now contributing to the success of "Perseverance" by helping the rover navigate, avoid hazards and collect samples.

Take the opportunity in Jena-Göschwitz to see the Mars rover in miniature and learn more about the Mars mission and our optics expertise.

Also ... Stamp rally in Göschwitz - we'll be there!
