Experience innovation live! Discover how SOMAG AG Jena provides razor-sharp aerial images and precise data worldwide - from volcano monitoring in Iceland to flood protection in the USA. Visit us at the Long Night of Science!

What do the effective monitoring of volcanic activity in Iceland, aerial arms control in Europe, three-dimensional mapping of French territory and flood protection in the USA have in common? One thing is certain in all these applications: technology from Jena is on board.

SOMAG AG Jena develops and produces stabilization platforms for aerial cameras and sensors that are used worldwide. These high-precision gyro stabilization mounts are primarily installed in the fuselage of aircraft, but also on ships or land vehicles. They can accommodate cameras or sensors weighing up to 300 kg. During use, they compensate for movements and vibrations in all three spatial axes, enabling razor-sharp photos and precise data recording.

Experience the functionality of our innovative stabilization platforms and their diverse areas of application live at our stand at the Long Night of Science. Be inspired by the technology of SOMAG AG Jena - we look forward to your visit!
