Photography in a museum has special requirements: All details should be clearly visible, the background should not be distracting, and the colors should be close to the original. At the ThULB, objects from museums and university collections are not only photographed by employees. Because digitization and digital photography are becoming increasingly important in the museum sector, we also teach students how this works in practical seminars.
At the Museum Night, we will have an appropriate photo setup available for your favorite object - whether it's a medal, a cuddly toy or grandma's vase. We will show you what you need to bear in mind if you want to photograph your object according to museum standards. You can of course keep the photos (and your object).
