Have you ever seen a CNC lathe in action? No? Please visit us.

Special devices and assemblies are required for teaching and research, which cannot be purchased. In close cooperation between scientists and engineers, such special developments are designed and manufactured in the workshops of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy.

During the demonstration presentations, rotationally symmetrical components are manufactured and distributed to interested visitors. The production of these simple workpieces is intended to give visitors a comprehensible impression of the exciting processing with computer-controlled machines.
