When hearing aids no longer help, an implantable hearing system can be the therapy that restores hearing to people with severe hearing loss or deafness. The indication for such a hearing system is examined at the ENT clinic in Jena

According to the World Health Organization, 1.5 billion people worldwide live with hearing loss. In Europe, moderate to severe hearing loss affects around 57 million people (6.2% of the population). Implantable hearing systems (in addition to hearing aids) can improve hearing and quality of life and protect against cognitive impairment. We will inform you about the entire fitting process from consultation to implantation and aftercare of cochlear, bone conduction and middle ear implants. You can also see and hold hearing implants and sound processors from the past and state-of-the-art devices up close.

Location: House A, Stand A18
Time: 18:00 - 24:00
