Through a mixture of participation, experience and historical exhibits, you will gain an exciting insight into the new concept of the D.O.M.

Gain informative impressions of the German Optical Museum (D.O.M.), which is currently under construction, at our stand. On this evening, we will be presenting three of the four main levels of the future D.O.M. to you.

From the smallest detail, to the human scale, to the distant, our three superimposed exhibition floors unfold:
MICRO - MESO - MACRO.

You will gain a lively insight into the exhibition concept as a varied mixture of hands-on experience and historical exhibits.

What can you expect?
Take a look through a historical microscope and test the future presentation in the exhibitions on the MIKRO level. Or let our perception experiments introduce you to the variety of topics covered by MESO, an entire exhibition floor dedicated to human and animal vision. And travel back in time with us and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of spectral light decomposition - a thematic complex of the MAKRO level in the future D.O.M.

Are you also interested in provenance research? On this evening you can purchase volumes I & II of the "Technisches Kulturgut" series for cash. Our Provenance Research team will be happy to inform you about current research issues.

You can look forward to informative discussions on the new concept for the permanent exhibition and an entertaining "excursion" into our selected themed worlds.
