Electronics - how are they made and how do I know they are working properly?

Electronic devices are omnipresent and permanently determine our lives. The most important components are printed circuit boards with small or large components and semiconductor chips that implement the desired function. But how do all these particles get onto the circuit board and who solders them? And how is it checked that everything works? The lecture will use practical examples to show how this manufacturing process works and how we arrive at our device with the desired function.
