Why dogs understand signs, parrots can count and scrub jays plan for the future: For centuries, we humans have been asking ourselves the question: What makes us different from animals? What can we do that animals can't? Are we unique? In a lecture with lots of photos and film sequences, we report on exciting experiments and surprising findings from comparative psychology. Our knowledge of what animals can do has changed fundamentally in a short space of time. It turns out that we humans are not as unique as we always thought.

In the lecture, we not only present the results of scientific studies, but also describe the studies themselves in a vivid way. After the lecture, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a few simple tests with dogs live.
