Thermographic cameras measure how temperatures are distributed on surfaces in the infrared range. With razor-sharp images, this type of camera reveals energy leaks and overheating in production processes. In the event of a fire, mobile thermal imaging cameras also enable the fire department and rescue services to maintain an overview at all times: The infrared technology still provides clear images of the operational environment even in complete darkness and dense smoke, enabling orientation and the detection of hidden pockets of embers. Visualizing infrared cameras also help in the search for missing persons. The aim is to produce an image with as much contrast as possible in order to clearly identify structures.
The EVIDIR infrared camera product family, which is available both as a thermographic camera and as a visualizing IR camera, is characterized by the highest infrared (IR) image quality in the smallest of spaces. They can be integrated into drones, bodycams or helmet cameras.
