There are still many false claims circulating that play down the threat posed to the Earth by climate change. This article compares these claims with the scientific facts.

Climate change - isn't that an invention of politicians? It's not man-made at all? The scientists don't even agree among themselves? We can't do anything about it anyway? A little warmer is nice, isn't it? We still have plenty of time to do something about it? So it's all hysteria?

The lecture will take a close look at such frequently heard false claims and compare them with the facts. It will explain why the climate crisis represents an unprecedented, existential global problem for humanity and why urgent action is needed.
