Even though artificial intelligence (AI) is currently making a lot of progress, it is always interesting for researchers to find out what does not (yet) work with AI. The "AI Zoo" experiment station, developed together with the DLR_School_Lab, takes a clear and playful look at how artificial neural networks work and the typical problems involved in training them.
In the "AI Zoo" you use an AI to recognize different animals and experimentally determine the limits of our model. You will also learn how a computer program learns to see and distinguish between animals. Feel free to bring along your favorite animal figures or pictures.
Then visit our other experimental stations. Test our sound simulator for electric aircraft engines, explore our FieldMApp for sustainable agriculture, discover the impressive possibilities of modern drone technology with VR glasses and much more.
DLR is Germany's national research center for aeronautics and space. Its extensive research and development work in aeronautics, space, energy, transportation and security is integrated into national and international collaborations.
At the DLR Institute of Data Science in Jena, we focus on the entire life cycle of data, starting with the acquisition and collection of high-quality data, its efficient and sustainable management and its subsequent analysis to extract the most relevant information.
